Facilities at Brosterfield Caravan Park
At Brosterfield Caravan Park, we’ve kept things simple, practical and in keeping with the peaceful feel of the site. Set in the heart of the Peak District and surrounded by open farmland, the park is designed for guests who want a relaxed stay with the essentials close at hand, whether you’re arriving with a tent, caravan, campervan, motorhome or booking one of our bell tents. The site is open year round and intentionally low-key, so you can enjoy the countryside without the noise and clutter of a larger holiday park.
Pitches and Glamping
We offer spacious non-electric grass pitches suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes, giving you a straightforward, back-to-basics stay in a beautiful rural setting. Pitches are suitable for roof tents, car tents and trailer tents, and can accommodate motorhomes up to 7 metres long.
For guests who want the camping feel without bringing their own tent, we also have two large unfurnished bell tents with log burners. These give you a ready-pitched base while still keeping the experience relaxed and outdoorsy. You simply bring your own bedding and camping kit, while enjoying the benefit of extra space and a cosy stove for cooler evenings. Logs are available as an extra.
Showers, Toilets and Everyday Essentials
Our facilities block has the key comforts you need for a comfortable stay. On site you’ll find 3 female showers, 2 female toilets, 2 male showers and 2 male toilets. There is also a pot washing area with access to drinking water, making it easy to take care of the day-to-day basics after cooking or eating on site.
The facilities are designed to be clean, practical and easy to use, whether you’re staying for a short weekend break or a longer Peak District getaway.
Water and Waste Disposal
For caravan, campervan and motorhome guests, the main service points are all kept together for convenience. The chemical toilet disposal point, grey water disposal point and fresh water point are all located at the entrance/exit to the caravan site, making them easy to access when arriving, setting up or leaving.
There is one important note for motorhome users: grey water cannot be emptied directly over the drain point and will need to be emptied manually. This helps keep the area tidy and manageable for all guests.
WiFi, Recycling and Useful Extras
Guests are provided with WiFi access, with a code supplied after booking. That means you can stay connected during your visit while still enjoying the quieter, more natural feel of the site.
In addition to the core facilities, we have recycling facilities in the camping field and a couple of electric car charging points on site. These are helpful extras for guests looking for a more convenient stay without changing the simple character of the park.
If you enjoy outdoor cooking, barbecues are allowed, provided you bring your own. Barbecues should be raised off the ground and supervised by an adult at all times.
Dog-Friendly Stays
Brosterfield Caravan Park is a dog-friendly site, so your four-legged companion does not have to miss out on your Peak District break. Two dogs are allowed per camping, caravan or motorhome pitch, while one dog is allowed in each glamping tent.
The surrounding area makes this especially appealing for dog owners, with beautiful walks directly from the site and a dog-friendly local pub nearby.
A Quiet, Low-Key Site
One of the things that makes Brosterfield different is its calm and peaceful atmosphere. The site has been developed as a small, low-key park, with the aim of keeping the experience as natural as possible for guests. To protect that feel, large group bookings are not accepted and music is not allowed.
This quieter approach makes the park a good fit for couples, families and anyone looking for a more relaxed stay in the countryside.
A Simple Base for Exploring the Peak District
Brosterfield Caravan Park offers the facilities most guests actually need: practical washrooms, waste and water points, WiFi, dog-friendly stays, glamping options and spacious non-electric pitches, all in a peaceful countryside setting.
It’s a simple, comfortable base for enjoying the Peak District at your own pace.
